Digital A2 (and art from 2018-2019)

 (Logo Design)

Logo design for my mother's coffee business that she is a part of. I wanted  to design 

a logo for  the company in  my own style. The logo was created  in Illustrator and  took 

a good five class periods.

(Character Design)

I had to make a  character design and I based it off of a real person. 

The person I was  inspired by was the NBA payer/rookie Trae Young.

I like how it turned out, but I should've added shading on the white jersey.

Andre 3000 (Andre Benjamin)
Digital painting I did of  Andre 3000. He's an actor, and rapper
from the Atlanta hip hop duo Outkast. I wanted to have a different
approach with this piece. Instead of  having  him in color, I did  it  in black and white. 
I like  how it  came out, but I'm considering adding shading to the shirt.  

Michael Jackson 
Did a  portrait of Michael Jackson back in April.
I wanted to make a  card-like design because  I thought it would be
neat, and cause I was too lazy to create a background.

Tyler Dorsey
This is the digital version of my drawing assignment. I did this in Illustrator.
I then converted it into a Photoshop file  to do some editing with the logo, and the font.
I like how this picture turned out.

Trae Young 
Drew this picture of Trae Young, a few months after he got
drafted. He is wearing the Hawks uniform (on the left) and The OU/Oklahoma
jersey (on the right).

(Logo Design)
For project 4, I had to make a logo for a fake basketball team.
I decided to just do Athens, GA since I was born here and
because it was easier. I used Illustrator to complete this person.

Maurice White
 (Earth Wind and Fire)
Maurice White was/is one of the lead singers from the group
Earth Wind and Fire. I like some of there music and decided to
do a portrait of him in September, because of their extremely
popular song known as "September".

Final Exam 
Some environmental painting I did for my finals in graphics.
Thought it would be fun to do a desert and I did it in under
3 hours which was challenging. I might go back and add some things.

"Ice Trae"

I've drawn numerous picture of Trae Young, but this is my favorite 

in terms of creative control. Instead of a basic portrait my assignment 

was to turn a basic picture of him into an idea. My objective was to

turn Young into a "superhero-like" persona. His nickname that Hawks fans 

call him is "Ice Trae" which means his play style is "cold" but he could have a 

"hot" scoring night when needed. That is where his blue, red and white color scheme comes

from. I did this project using both Illustrator and Photoshop.

Logo Concepts 

The project for this are logos. The title of the company (I made up)

is called "Atlanta Animations...pretty simple but convenient. 

The first logo (top left corner) has a tablet pen and graphite pencil

crossing over each other. The second logo (top right corner) has two A's stacked 

on top each other with a tablet pen connected to them with a white circle 

behind it. Finally the last logo (the bottom) just says "Atlanta Animations" in black

and white boxes. I like how they came out but the last one is my least favorite,

but my favorite one is the second logo.

Final Exam 
To tell the truth this was supposed to be for project #9 (that I didn't have time to do), but since I forgot to do it, I decided to use it as my final exam. I did a vector of myself in Illustrator and did the coloring in Photoshop. The coloring was stressful because I had to work with
a mouse, due to complications with the drawing tablets.
